Discuss with your client what is a deal killer for them and if it gets to that, be sure you communicate it to the other side. Don’t assume anything when you are in negotiations. By doing your homework, you and your client will feel good when the deal comes together or it is let go.
The only way to avoid remorse is to know all your facts up front. It’s imperative to do your homework before your negotiations begin.
